Materials of the activities of the "Monte Cassino" Committee at the UVU Foundation (late 1980s)
In addition to the activities that ensured the achievement of the main goal of our institution - financially
to help Ukrainian students and UVU, the Foundation has been active for many years
specialized committees and a number of student programs were implemented.
In particular, in the 1980s and 1990s of the last century, the UVU Foundation in New York operated student
committees "In the footsteps of parents across Europe", "Monte Cassino", "Dahav", thanks to which the names were immortalized
many thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who died in battles during the Second World War and died in
concentration camps and preserved their memory from the darkness of oblivion.
