The laureates of the FUVU competition named after Volyanik-Shwabinsky
The jury consisting of Olga Volyanyk-Kuzyshyn, Ihor Nikolyuk, Larisa Zanyk and Hanna Dudyk made a decision to honor the participants of the literary and scientific competition named after the Volyanyk-Shwabinsky Foundation of the Ukrainian Free University for works published in 2020. The first prize was awarded to Roman Horak for the biography of Vasyl Stefanyk, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the outstanding classic writer and public figure, a prominent master of the psychological novel, storyteller, world-class short story writer. The author's long-term research work made it possible to create a thorough publication about V. Stefanyk as a world novelist.
